Two goods converged in an orange room,
And sorry I could not vote for both
And even though just one my waist would doom,
I ate all the Muffins I could
To the point myself control I loath;
Then tried the other, as just as fair,
I piled on a serving (or two) of Apple Crisp,
Because it was fruity and light as air;
Though as for that vote for pass or fail,
Had enjoyed each good about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In a fruity, delicious wonderful display
Oh, I kept my fork for another snack!
Yet knowing how votes always lead one way,
I knew the slighted competitor shall never be back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Though Carissa’s Caramel Apple Crisp was tart and rich:
We must offer her our condolence—
The votes deemed Chris’s as the most voted by,
And that has made all the difference.
